How to Care for Your Mattress

— Rotate your mattress every 3 months for even wear.
— Use a mattress protector from day one.
— Allow your mattress to air regularly.
— Open windows when changing bedding.
— Never fold or bend your mattress.
— Vacuum regularly to remove dust and allergens.
— Spot clean stains immediately with mild detergent and cold water only.

What to Consider When Buying a Mattress

Sleeping position:

Side sleepers need softer mattresses for shoulder and hip pressure relief. Back and front sleepers need firmer support for spinal alignment.

Lighter sleepers suit soft to medium. Average weight suits medium to firm. Heavier sleepers suit firm to extra firm for proper support without sinking.

If you sleep hot choose a pocket sprung or hybrid mattress — the spring layer allows air to circulate. Memory foam retains more heat.

If you share a bed and your partner moves a lot, pocket sprung mattresses isolate motion better than open coil or solid foam mattresses.

Look for hypoallergenic materials if you suffer from dust allergies. Memory foam is naturally resistant to dust mites.

Higher price generally means better materials and longer lifespan. A good mattress is an investment — we recommend spending as much as your budget allows.
